A man has chained him self to a silo on a Waikato factory pig farm in New Zealand report from The New Zealand Herald Highlighting the global cruelty shown to defenceless animals in factory farms.

New legislation is due to come in affect in New Zealand,. But Animal rights group Open Rescue says the legislation doesn't go far enough to protect the animals involved in factory farming.

New Zealand Open Rescue collective did an undercover investigation of the factory farm involved in the protest.

It is barbaric that people worldwide allow animals to be tortured in this way just to save themselves a couple of dollars on the check-out!
