NU Tan Furs

Nu Tan Furs Incorporated. A privately owned company located in Catalina, Trinity bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Is one of two Canadian companies that buy the baby seal furs. This year the other company backed down because of world pressure to stop this barbaric practice.

So we are finally getting close to stopping these morons from murdering baby seals. Now we have to stop this company.

Here is a copy of an email sent to me by ARAN An Irish animal rights group today that provided the above information. Thanks guys. please follow the 2 steps below to make your views on seal slaughter clear to those involved:

Dear ARAN Supporter,

Watching the final days of Canada’s baby seal slaughter take place this week crushes my heart in two. But what makes me even more angry is that we have just learned of the company that has literally sanctioned Canada’s 2010 seal slaughter, as other markets are literally shutting down right across the world. We have learned that out of the two main seal skin buyers in Canada, only one has decided to order this year – effectively ordering the slaughter of many baby seals. We urgently need you to please commit to doing just two actions for Canada’s baby seals right now.

One: Please contact Nutan – the company responsible for the killing of many seals this year in order to supply it’s disgusting business. We need you to please tell this shameful company what you think of Canada’s baby seal hunt. Contact details are here.

Two: We also need you to please send an email to all the Canadian Senators and politely, but firmly, tell them how you feel about their backing of Canada’s seal slaughter amid international controversy and their refusal to even grant a debate about the slaughter at government level. In order to save you time, we suggest you write your email and block send it to the following email addresses below.

Remember that we are now closer than ever to ending Canada’s seal slaughter. But we desperately need you to do the two actions above today. Please check out this positive news articleabout the hunts final days this year. Now I can safely say that 2010 may finally be the last year this shameful hunt takes place. But until then, I and my colleagues at ARAN, will not rest until the blood soaked hooks, guns and hakapiks the sealers use are out of business for good.

Thank you for all you are doing to help animals in the most heartbreaking situations, together we will end this slaughter for good.

John Carmody

P.S. we have no doubt you are inundated with appeals every single day, but please remember just taking the above two steps could well indeed end one of the world’s most unmerciful slaughters of marine mammals ever.
